Archive Data
Infrastructure assets continually change in condition and valuation.
It is important therefore to be able to take a snapshot of the data in time for the purpose of reporting, modeling and comparison.
Assetic myData allows Users to archive a single asset, an entire asset category or the entire asset register.
Archive a Single Asset Record
- Select the asset in the navigation tree
- Click on the Create Archive button in the Standard information section of the window
This will archive the selected asset and display a timestamp in the drop down menu.
A time stamp will appear for each time an asset has been archived.
Bulk Archive Asset Records
- Select Bulk Archive Asset Records from the Asset Register menu
- Select the Asset Categories to Bulk Archive
- Select the Date for the Bulk Archive
Note: The data archived will be a snapshot of what is in the system at the point of archiving, for instance 'today'; however, Users may choose a previous date to represent the archive e.g. 30/06/YYYY
- To overwrite duplicate records with the same timestamp, tick the relevant checkbox
- All Asset Categories checked will now show a timestamp of the bulk archive date
